Background and Experience
Richard brings over 30 years in the transportation, logistics and warehousing experience to the Sunbelt Business Brokers team.
Richard owned and operated two businesses in the Chicago area. Early in his career he ran a small public warehouse specializing in food syrups and flavorings. For the past twenty five years Richard owned a freight brokerage business with annual sales in excess of ten million dollars. Having operated such a significant business, Richard wore many hats and is intimately familiar with all facets of a small business including sales, marketing, operations, accounting, and, of course, cash flow generation and management. Richard is in a unique position to help small business owners understand the merger and acquisition landscape and help them prepare their businesses for a successful sale.
Richard is a registered Business Broker in Illinois. Richard is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois State University and has served in a number of community organizations.
