Background and Experience
Larry brings over 30 years of operations, sales, marketing, merger/acquisition and business finance experience to the Sunbelt Business Brokers team. This experience includes service as the President and CEO of U.S. Commercial Funding (USCF) a wholly owned subsidiary of Celtic Investments, Inc. (NASDQ-CELT), a financial services company, specializing in early stage, growth development and non-bankable companies. While at USCF he directed the acquisition of a $200MM company and facilitated all aspects of the merger. He has served as an Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, of Capitol Resource Funding and Vice President of Sales for Oxford Capitol Corporation. He obtained operational experience while serving as Vice President of Truck Rental and Leasing for Budget Rent a Car Corporation (Budget) and various Senior Management positions at Hertz Truck Rental & Leasing. While at Budget he directed the acquisition of 40+ franchised operations and converted them into corporate operations. He is a registered Business Broker in Illinois and he has served as a Director of the National Commercial Finance Association for 15 years and is a member of the Chicago Turnaround Management Association.
